Tuition Fees and Scholarships

The University of Costa Rica does not offer scholarships to national or foreign students admitted at the graduate level.

Nevertheless, professors may offer partial financial aid through research projects. The student can work as a course or research assistant and be exempted from college registration fees and/or any college credits tuition fees, in addition to receiving a modest payment. This applies to both nationals and foreigners.

How much does each college credit cost?

The master’s in biology is a regular financed program; therefore, the cost is set by the University Council and is periodically updated based on the dictated policies for that specific instance.
